A new generation of Bentley Arnage will be presented to the hybrid version


Bentley Company plans to actively use the hybrid power plants for their cars. The statement was made head of Bentley Paefgen Franz Josef (Franz Josef Paefgen) in his interview to Dow Jones.

As expected, the change of line of motors will happen during the planned renewal range of British brands, scheduled for the next few years. The new units are expected to be borrowed from other models of Volkswagen and Audi.

The first hybrid car will Benley Bentley Arnage. The manufacturer plans to equip the luxurious Arnage sedan hybrid power plant, only it will happen only after a new generation of this model in 2010. The basis for this element will become a standard 6.75 liter V8 gasoline engine and hybrid system developed by Audi.

In addition, a new generation Arnage is likely to be used to produce another Audi - special aluminum chassis that will reduce vehicle weight by 150 kg and a positive impact on fuel economy.
